Getting across the Atlantic from the Americas isn’t cheap for a cramped seat on a long haul. Flying Blue, the loyalty program of Air France and KLM is making trips to Europe easier with 25% off mileage redemptions this month if you book by January 31 for travel through June 30, 2025.

Air France operates from Paris (CDG), and KLM is based in Amsterdam (AMS). Both offer easy connections to Europe, allowing travelers to take advantage of these deals in either economy or premium economy, depending on the flight. For example, you can book a one-way flight from Phoenix (PHX) to Rome (FCO) via Paris (CDG) for just 15,000 miles, which is usually over $700. Taxes and fees, depending on the route and fare class, will add around $200 to the total cost.

  • Miami (MIA) to/from Europe in economy: 15,000 miles
  • Phoenix (PHX) to/from Europe in economy: 15,000 miles

  • New York (JFK) to/from Europe in premium economy: 26,250 miles

Marriott Bonvoy transfers at a 3:1 ratio, with a bonus of 5,000 miles for every 60,000 points. You can also accrue miles by flying with SkyTeam partners like Delta and Korean Air.
