“Flowers are a proud assertion that a ray of beauty out values all the utilities in the world.”–?Ralph Waldo Emerson
Flowers are a great reflection of humans. They are each unique, thrive in community, and exhibit rare beauty. I was sitting at home one day last year, reading about flowers and all of a sudden I had the thought...FLOW-ER. It all seemed to click in my mind.
We are flowers! One big thing that stuck out was the growth of plants and how it relates to human psychology. I don't know about you but I have grown and evolved mostly from hardships in life. From touching or swimming in the pool of the discomfort of darkness. When I felt lost, confused and sad...it compelled me to search deeper within. Some call this shadow work. Just like us, most plants grow faster in the dark. If they stay in the dark too long they become weak, but just the right amount breeds power from stored energy.
Many of the sages told us we could learn a lot from nature. And it's true. When a flower blooms it's at its prime. A flower is also very cyclical and they can vary from blooming several times a year to once in a lifetime. That is very much like how we are all different and cannot compare our journeys to one another.
When flowers bloom they spread their seeds. It is a great lesson for humanity that when we are doing well to share that wealth with everyone. To remember to help others and inspire others.
The most important part of a flow-er is that fact that by going with the flow we can ride the waves of life. We can accept that we don't always know what's best for us and that nature's got our back. If we can learn to let go and ride the wave of surrender we can truly become a flower, in alignment with our true nature. I do believe choice is a human given right on this experimental playground we call Earth, and that it is more like a wave of creating your own destiny mixed with surrounding. With practice and patience you learn to ebb and flow along with the ineffable.
To get more cosmic, the universe, to me, is a flower. Like a flower, it came from soil (the void) and its connecting roots are intelligent plasma. Just like a baby attached to an umbilical cord, our baby universe is in some way possibly connected to a mother universe.

There is a reason why the flower of life represents the unity of all life and the interconnectedness of all beings. It is a flower but also the flow-er of life. I have my own theories about this and I believe it's an almost secret code for plasma. Plasma is the fourth state of matter which makes up nearly 99.9 percent of the observable universe.
Plasma flows. It is what connects us all. I believe it is a vehicle for consciousness. It is literally a medium. (the intervening substance through which impressions are conveyed to the senses or a force [consciousness] acts) The glue. The in between. Plasma is a fractal. Flowers are fractals.
Flowers are flow-ers. We are flowers. The cosmos is a flower. We are different yet all the same.
Maybe the flower is a reminder of our own beauty and the beauty that connects us. The beauty that is within and without.
