FLOW & GROW

FLOW & GROW

This, I believe is the most important visual from my book.

this is perhaps my most important contribution

FLOW & GROW.

2 sides of the same coin.

Spirituality - Science

Creativity - Logic

Be in the now - Taking Action

The game of life is tough.

For everyone. no matter what your starting point is, life is tough.

However, if you can learn to play the game you can succeed and experience a joyful, healthy & meaningful life.

The 2 most important things in order to play the game well I found are:-

1) learn to get into and stay in the 'flow' state

2) commit to lifelong learning and developing a growth mindset.

As most of you will know the 'Flow' state is that sacred space where performance peaks, happiness overflows, and opportunities pour in. It is that space when we thrive to challenges.

Being in the 'flow' is said to be an exhilarating experience. being out if the flow either due to too much stress or stagnantion can be the precursor for long term health problems.

Our skillset, our purpose, and desire meet a challenge in such a way that it feels as we have extra unseen support. It is like life has a vested interest in your success and pushes your through, even seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

We have all experienced moments in our life when we have felt incredible results and feelings when in the 'flow' state.

But I'll guess it has mostly been an unconscious process.

What is important now is how to get into that state and stay in it AT WILL. mastering this process consciously will be a game changer for you.

just going with the flow on its own isn't enough though. This can lead to a life without purpose a life, without direction, aimless, and a life without growth.

Therefore I suggest that the second important factor to understand the game of life is growth. I used Maslow's hierarchy of needs to demonstrate this point. The physical body stops growing by the time a person is 20. (not counting fat and muscle :)) but the mind doesn't. It needs to keep growing.

If a person gets to a particular milestone on Maslow's hierarchy it is easy for the person to stagnant. Achieving a milestone may have been a struggle or a life's dream come true, but if this becomes a plateau, it can be dangerous. This stagnation again becomes a precursor for health and life problems.

we have to keep growing, mentally and spiritually, in order to experience the very best that life can offer. Yes, there is magic outside the comfort zone.

wholeheartedly I believe, that if a person can understand and apply these 2 principles into their life, today, this time next year that person will have exceeded his/her expectations and smashed every goal that they set for themselves.
