 For Florida employers, the minimum wage increases from $8.46 to $8.56 for 2020. Tipped worker minimum rates also increase from $5.44 to $5.54 per hour.

 Florida generally follows federal rules on overtime, with time and one-half required for over 40 hours worked in a week.
