Florida Atlantic University’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters invites you to a thought-provoking event, “The Constitution Today,” on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. The event will take place in the Barry and Florence Friedberg Auditorium, located within the Osher Lifelong Learning Society at FAU’s Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road. This special event will feature an insightful discussion on the enduring relevance of the U.S. Constitution in the 21st century. Emily Bazelon, a renowned legal scholar and staff writer for The New York Times Magazine, will delve into how the Constitution continues to shape and influence contemporary legal debates and social issues.
Joining her is Katie Phang, host of “The Katie Phang Show” on MSNBC and a legal contributor for NBC News and MSNBC. Phang will draw from her extensive trial experience to provide sharp analysis and commentary on the latest legal issues worldwide.
Following the lecture, there will be a panel discussion that promises to further explore the critical topics raised.
