Florida A&M Football Program Suspended Due to a Rap Video
The?Florida A&M University?football program has been suspended because of a rap video by rapper Real Boston Richey. The rap video and song, titled “Send a Blitz” contained explicit lyrics and was filmed in the FAMU locker room with some of the football players.?
Head coach?Willie Simmons’ main concern was the explicit language in the song which “is not consistent with FAMU’s core values, principles and beliefs,” Simmons said in a statement.
Simmons also mentioned in his statement, “They will all learn from this mishap and we will continue to work hard every day to become the best version of ourselves and continue to make Rattler Nation proud. As a result of this unfortunate situation, I am suspending all football-related activities until further notice.”??
