The floggings will continue until morale improves

What do you think when you read the title of this article?

Looks like a recruiting poster for Hell’s army.

It’s a kind of joke, but it expresses a common idea – keep on doing what got you into a bad

situation in the hope it will get you out of it.

So, ‘Keep marketing harder until sales pick up.’

Or, ‘Keep shouting at the kids until their behaviour improves.’

Will these solutions work?

Maybe. But you can bet there will be some bad ‘unintended consequences’

(Customer complaints? Child psychiatrist bills?)

The better question to ask ourselves is, ‘Could our proposed solution, actually be part of the

problem?’

That’s the question the coach is asking.

The problem is not the problem, the problem is the way you’re thinking about the problem.

Or another way of putting it - What got you here won’t get you there.

What will get you there is MY PREMIER ESTABLISHED INTERNATIONAL
