Floating Wind and Hydrogen
Some big announcements since World Hydrogen Leaders last ran the course with progress for California and a 4GW prize announced in July: Floating Wind and Hydrogen in the Celtic Sea?
So, hoping to catch you in person at:
Floating Wind and Hydrogen
The floating offshore wind sector is expected to grow significantly across the globe in the coming years. The UK is incorporating floating wind into its industrial strategy and will require a supply chain encompassing turbine fixing, towers and dynamic and fixed cabling infrastructure. With Round 4 now incorporating floating wind and Scot Wind imminent a massive increase is imminent.
The journey to a renewable, circular and low-carbon economy (facilitated with floating offshore wind helping provide electrons, hydrogen and other technologies), will be challenging and the very top priority will be that it is implemented and delivered safely. This course details how global leaders can assist. Developers and stakeholders require their people and supply chain to possess the necessary skills and competencies to deliver hybrid and floating offshore wind, solar, and hydrogen projects safely, on time and with the highest quality standards.
The course aims to enable companies and stakeholders to be aware of the fundamentals of floating offshore wind and its integration with hydrogen. We cover what it is and what it means for the future? What decisions and plans are likely to be made based on the real opportunities that are emerging? Participants will be guided as to where early opportunities are most likely to lie, who is involved and how to engage.

Agenda
A three session course led by an industry expert exploring the challenges and opportunities for stakeholders and those interested in entering the emerging supply chain – the potential rewards are huge, do not be left behind.
As we move towards a zero-carbon future, floating wind and the potential integration of hydrogen promise to transform the energy sector. Combining these technologies can revolutionise the way we think about extracting energy; transport and energy storage – creating a new economic infrastructure and supply chain where huge opportunities await.
The three session course is led by Charley Rattan, a respected international hydrogen and offshore wind expert and energy insider and thought leader. With over 25 years’ real-world renewable experience and a track record of successful major project delivery, Charley is a trusted strategic advisor to global energy companies and an advocate and facilitator for the emerging innovation energy market.
