For some, Friday the 13th is unlucky. But what if today you flipped the script to see this as an opportunity? Instead can you embrace uncertainty?

Today, I invite you to take a few minutes to do some business reflection and take some small actions. And if today isn't a good day, save this post and do this exercise at a better time.

• Do a risk assessment to discover where you are vulnerable. Decide what you can do to proactively reduce risks.
• Write out your fears - what is holding you back? Be aware that most of them won't come true.
• Shift your focus from bad luck to success and set new expectations that things can go well.
• While you are setting those expectations, review your goals from this new perspective. Today take one bold action toward your goals.
