Is Flight Levels for anyone?

Is Flight Levels for anyone?

We are so tired! And so excited and awake at the same time!

We have just arrived from our workshops in Thailand with our colleagues Kulawat and Kamon, from Lean In and we are completely refilled with the incredibly positive energy we have once more experienced in Bangkok, Thailand.

For the 10th year in a row, we have been doing the Flight Levels workshops where we have been able to vibrate with the incredibly high energy we felt in the rooms and with the teams.

One of the most exciting things about the Asian business world is how advanced and developed they are. How modern and advanced is their economy!

And how fast they are developing and growing their business. It seems they are firmly walking toward a leadership position.

They are big groups of very motivated and highly educated workforce submerged in a less bureaucratic corporate methodology that allows them to implement and adapt to changes quickly. They can easily get things done!?

This new changing reality requires the habit of implementing systems to make the teams work together on a common goal. So companies are strongly implementing in-house working methodologies like Flight Levels to get the most out of their big and decentralized teams.?

In fact, in this year’s edition, we’ve had companies sending new people for the third time in a row and evolving their teams to a higher Flight Levels course like the FL3D workshop.

Flight Levels is not a strict and rigid methodology that tells you what to do. In fact, it is the complete opposite.

Flight Levels has the ability to adapt to the specific needs of the people who are using it. That makes it so international and adaptable to different circumstances.

It is not a strict framework that tells you what to do. Is a thinking model that helps you achieve your goals.

At this Asian edition of the FL3D we had mainly managers from various industries like an insurance company, software development, retailer and online education provider

With a very practical approach, we have been working on their real cases and projects.

Our students were expecting to better understand how to connect strategy to operations. Many times we see they are two completely isolated worlds. One dreams about the future and the other one completely focused on today. And in order to improve customer service, deliverability or any other aspect we need to be able to collaborate across these teams. We should be able to connect strategy to operations.

For example, in this year’s edition, we got to deeply work on the business case of a retailer whose fiscal shops are losing clients, but online store clients are increasing. In an extremely volatile market such as fashion, their challenge is to improve deliverability.?

We will be launching more and more editions, not only in Europe.?
