Flies and Facial Expressions: Were those really the highlights of the debate?

I don't know about you, but I am tired of the presidential election circus. It is embarrassing at this point. However, it has solidified my belief that the federal government is not going to help us right away. Biden does not care about the water in my area and Trump is not going to do anything to support the safe reopening of our local schools. Why? Because our government is not set up that way. Why are we having such a problem getting a handle on COVID, health care, school-- or any of the other crises our nation is facing? Because we have 50 micro governments that include even more micro governments in districts, cities, and parishes. Until we--from the local level-- start working together to fix our own neighborhoods, we will not see the change we need. I've bought the t-shirts-- I've picked up the promotional pens and ribbons at community events. What else can we do? We have to push beyond awareness and hashtags for real change!
