Flexpipe Opens New State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility in Texas

Flexpipe recently expanded its operations into the United States, officially opening its newest state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.?

“The new facility is the result of a fantastic development in terms of our technology. Flexpipe was built on disruptive new technology, and some of our recent developments that have satisfied our customers biggest challenges have led to a great amount of growth for us,” said Pascal Laferriere , VP, Strategic Technology and Business Transformation. “This facility is really required to handle that growth and bring production closer to our customers.”??

Why Rockwall, Texas?

Mike Reeves , CEO Mattr stated “Rockwall has proven to be a wonderful place to put our roots down in Texas. We needed a location that was reasonably close to the Port of Houston, reasonably close to West Texas, had a great source of employee base and good local support from local government, and all of those things have been proven to be true right here in Rockwall.”?

Mike Pejs , VP, Flexpipe added “the city of Rockwall has been great to us and we’re just really happy to partner with them and be part of this community.”?

Opportunities for Future Expansion

“Our customers are facing newer challenges and more difficult applications...” says Martin Perez , President, Composite Technologies, “so for us it’s really important to invest in technology that allows them to tackle those challenges… We are here to learn those challenges and create the best solution for them when they need it.”?

The facility, which spans over 200,000 square feet, was thoughtfully designed in a way to allow for future growth opportunities. “This facility is not only a result of expanding technology that we’ve already introduced and bringing that closer to the market, but we’ve developed this facility in a way that has a great eye to the future… we’ve laid out areas that are basically reserved for future technologies that are coming to the market,” said Laferriere. “We’re really excited for what’s to come.”?

What Does this Mean for Investors?

Opening its Doors for Business

Flexpipe celebrated the grand opening with employees and local contacts last Wednesday, June 19th, 2024.

The newest Rockwall location is now qualified to manufacture #composite pipe in their day-to-day operations and will be a go-to location to showcase their newest advancements in technology and manufacturing. The facility is also opening its doors to host customers and partners for plant tours, meetings and more.?
