FLEXOXCHANGE event success - our pride in delivering

As the dust settles, we can look back on immense pride at our partnership with DuPont Cyrel for the FLEXOXCHANGE Open House that received plaudits from all sides.

From a converter customer case study provided by Olof Eriksson of Graphic Packaging International through to integrated software and hardward solutions – including showing hybrid solutions on our RotaJET press – delegates came away well briefed from the two-day event.

As the driver of the second day activities held in Würzburg, in our Customer Technology enter we showed live running applications on our RotaJET digital press for the packaging industry.

There was also the chance to see the building of our new XD CI-Flexo press, which we announced the launch of earlier this month.

All this was provided as part of a modern factory tour where we have members of staff proud of their role in literally shaping our future in the numerous packaging and printing industries in which we serve from our headquarters in Wurzburg.

Mrs Anke Frieser-Tausch of DFTA (German Flexo Technical Association) also introduced some thought-provoking discussions with a presentation entitled, “Top Trends in Packaging Printing”, while Dr Alexander Kronimus, Plastics Europe’s Head of Climate Protection & Circular Economy, provided in-depth insights on the upcoming EU legislation and its impact on the packaging industry.

But perhaps the overriding message was that flexo industry still has a future, is growing and is adapting towards digital.
