FLAT ROOF MATERIALS

If the time has come for a new flat roof , you need to know what choises you have:

• Sprayed Polyurethane Foam: This kind of material is sprayed, orsqueegeed flowed onto the  surface and may be protected by a special second coating.
• Self -Adhesive  Roll Roofing: These often include a base sheet and a cap sheet , both come in rolls only a single layer is applied  to a primed decking.
•  EPDM:   A rubber roof can be often installed in one complete layer without the need for joins depending on size,which is often an attractive prospect. A slipsheet and/or insulation is often used under the membrane in mechanically fastened and ballasted systems. It provides a smooth surface, It is also extremely light weight, elastic and tough. Some times rubber roofs are glued down to the decking ( wooden substrate ).
• A well installed rubber roof can be a very good option.
