#FlashbackFriday: Lifting 101 - How to Spare Your Back When You Change That Tire

With the warm weather *FINALLY* here to stay, it was time to remove my salt crusted, ice battered, weather tested winter tires, and mount my glorious, windows down, sunroof open summer tires.

Of course, most people don't change their own tires - and for good reason. It's a cumbersome and sometimes messy job, and it involves lifting heavy objects (tires) in a compromised position (squatting).

However, even if you don't change your own tires, you've probably done something that involved heavy lifting at some point - maybe even daily. And no, I'm not talking about lifting at the gym, but instead I mean various chores.

I wrote a post about proper lifting mechanics in the fall (https://bit.ly/2jdzOSj). Check it out for a full description on how to lift heavy items properly and safely.

Whatever you do, be sure to get out there this weekend and enjoy the fabulous weather!
