Flash Fill in Excel

We have Got times when we need to extract specific data from certain columns, usually we do it either by using "split columns", or by using some complex formulas like left, right, mid etc , there is flashfill , a feature we forget about most of the time (this was the case for me at least)

Flash Fill a feature in excel where you just start typing what you need & excel will guess what you need to be extracted , for example you want to extract only street name in the column , only numbers or zip code, so you just start typing in adjacent column what you want exactly (even with case if you need capital letters, its intelligent enough ), & excel will suggest what it found (below snapshots) and you either press enter or you will try again until it gives correct one, try it out, it really saves time, but one limitation is that it is not dynamic, so if new data added you need to fill again

Flash fill available on excel 2013 onwards , to enable it , go to options ,advance settings , enable flash fill
