THE FIZZ and UMCH: Building a Successful Partnership

Partnership, collaboration, and shared goals define the new way of doing business. This idea sounds natural and simple, but first, you must find a trustworthy partner with whom you can achieve these goals. At THE FIZZ, we are pleased to say that UMCH (George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Science, and Technology, Medical Campus Hamburg) is that partner. Together with the university team, we can offer prospective and current students a well-rounded solution to two of life's biggest challenges - personal development and moving to a foreign country.
What have we achieved together?
-?????We have already organised 10 exclusive online information sessions for prospective UMCH students. Participants were able to take advantage of special offers.
-?????During their studies at UMCH, students need their own space where they can concentrate during exam periods, but also a place to socialise and interact with their peers. Over the course of 8 semesters, more than 130 students have signed up to live at THE FIZZ, and 54 of them will be staying on for the coming winter semester.
-?????We recently held an on-site visit to THE FIZZ in Hamburg, where students had the opportunity to meet our team in person and gain valuable insight into the benefits of being a FIZZie.
-?????We have exchanged dozens of emails with the university team, parents, and students.
What made our work together successful?

-?????First and foremost, we were led by the enthusiasm of Esther Boehner from UMCH and Christina Kinsfator from THE FIZZ, who initiated this project in 2021.
-?????We recognised that giving students the opportunity to live and study together leads to better academic outcomes and a stronger community. Together we looked for a way to translate this insight into tailored services.
-?????Each team applied their hands-on mentality to turn bespoke solutions into a foundation for successful collaboration.
