Pocket-sized Tetris and PAC-MAN

Of course, so many of the products we create aren't just for Christmas - like our official licensed Tetris and PAC-MAN keyring games and arcades in a tin, which have brought home awards including Gift of the Year and the prestigious Spielwarenmesse Toy Award (teenager & adult category).

Did you know, adults bought more toys for themselves than any other age group in the last quarter? As a result, adults have surpassed 3–5-year-olds as the most important demographic to the toy industry. In our recent article, we explore the growing "kidulting" trend, and what it really means.

Phenomenal People

We're always the first to say we wouldn't be where we are without the phenomenal people behind us, and July has been a busy month as we celebrate Claire Leppard & Zoe Ryan - who have been at Fizz for 5 years!

This month, we're also welcoming two people who are just starting out their journey with Fizz: Kimberly Wilson joining our USA team as a National Account Manager, and Pamela Rech joining our New Product Development team in the UK.

Supporting others

Despite everything we've been up to, here at Fizz we are never too busy to help others! So we just wanted to take this opportunity to shout about all the amazing things our team has been doing to raise money for great causes, and the amazing charities we love to support as a business.

Our Head of Purchasing & Logistics, Richard, is competing in the rather grueling HYROX competition later this year, a fitness race with both running & functional workout stations, where participants run 1km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated EIGHT times ??, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. We're more than happy to cheer him on as he does all the hard work on this one - good luck, Richard!

We are once again the proud sponsor of a beloved movie character featured on the this year's Shoreham Star Trail, which took place just down the road from Fizz HQ in Lancing this weekend. Organised by the Adur Special Needs Project , who do incredible work to provide SEND children aged 5-15 with fun weekend play schemes, it's a fantastic event for a cause very close to our hearts which we absolutely love being a part of!

It was great to see Bob Hoad from More Radio this month, who dropped by the office to collect our goodie bags 2024 Child of Sussex Awards. We absolutely love putting these together every year to help celebrate these inspiring children and their achievements - looks like they all had the best time!

Also at our UK HQ, the team dug out their most daring outfits for a Shocking Shirts & Funky Frocks fundraiser in aid of Safe In Sussex , a local charity helping those suffering from domestic abuse in the West Sussex area. A special thanks to Sharon and Nicola for kindly baking some goodies to be sold in the break room!
