Let's get one thing straight. You can't take control of your career if your personal life is a mess. And when I say personal, I'm not talking about your love life or relationships with your college buddies. I'm talking about your work-life balance and mental clarity. When you take the time to focus on yourself, you can actually be more productive, creative, and impactful at work.

My advice is to take a look at your life and put time for yourself on your calendar. That time can be a much-needed vacation, a break for meditation, time to work out, or an hour-long study session. Whatever you do, take the time to fix you, and I promise you'll see the results in your professional life too.
