IT administrators should take note of the STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION problem code they are now seeing in the Microsft Entra interface while utilizing Microsoft Edge.
????This resolved my problem. ?? ??
When closing a (policy) window in the Intune and Entra Portals, an accessibility option in Edge may result in the status_access_violation error with the most recent Windows build.
Please open Microsoft Edge and go to the following location to fix this recurring error:
edge://accessibility
Once you have opened the accessibility internals page, you must deselect the “Web Accessibility” Option.
After that, the web accessibility option is disabled; the other accessibility modes below will be automatically turned off. Before closing the screen, select ” lock the current accessibility mode from being changed except for this page”
If you don’t select that option, the web accessibility option could be turned on again and with it, the same error code will reappear.
After configuring the accessibility options in Edge, you can close the window. With these edge accessibility options disabled, the status_access_violation error will no longer show when exiting windows in the Intune and Entra Portals.
