Picture this: You’re looking for a math tutor for your kid. You decide that you want to use a reputable company that markets itself online, so you start to do some research. Here are two options that you find.?

Company A’s website says: Math tutors available for elementary school children?

Company B’s website says: Our expert math tutors specialize in helping elementary students who struggle with fundamental math skills in?Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division

At first glance, which one would you pick?

Now take a quick minute and think about the messaging on?your?website…

Is it vague? Impersonal?? Does it address the pain points of your audience?? Does it even acknowledge?who?your audience is??

The?messaging for your brand?is vital because it’s foundational to?all?that you do: your website, social posts, blogs, ads, emails, EVERYTHING.?

So before you take one step further to grow your startup, make sure your messaging in clear, to the point, and speaking directly to who you’re trying to serve.
