Five years, big dreams. How I use time buckets to turn ideas into reality.

I’m writing to you from Antwerp’s grey and rainy historical city. It’s a familiar backdrop for planning new projects, but soon, luckily ??, I’ll return to NYC's blue skies and bustling energy, which always stirs a unique sense of ambition in me.

Talking about new projects, it's with great joy and pride that I want to share the birth of Nuumani.com , a platform designed to help improve the quality and excellence of the coaching industry by offering support and growth opportunities to coaches, alongside community initiatives and helping coaches generate leads so they can find and retain clients.

This new project is part of my "five-year bucket," a concept you might be familiar with now, as I've shared about it before. It started in 2010 when I wanted to exit my web agency. I realized that any project could be started and built out enough in five years. After that first successful "bucket," I went on to fill a new one: become a coach. Five years later, I decided to use my new bucket to become a thriving, internationally recognized coach with a solid client base of worldwide creatives. My last bucket, which started in 2020, is where I became a writer. I'm four years in, and I've written two books, been accepted to a prestigious writing academy, and spent two years in writing class.

By looking at my time this way, especially as a generalist, I became aware of the limited amount of time - "buckets" - I have left to achieve my dreams. With a bit of good fortune and good health, in my forties now, I have about five decent buckets left. How many do you have? This puts things into perspective, doesn't it? It has undoubtedly made me more focused and determined to make the most of every moment and be more mindful when deciding what projects to take on and give my energy to.

As we approach a new bucket, I decided to make a head start this time. With Nuumani.com , I want to achieve my personal goals and contribute positively to the coaching industry. Coaching has been my passion for the past ten years, and through this platform, I want to create a supportive and empowering community for coaches to thrive.
