Five Thieves Of Happiness
Joy and happiness?are natural aspects of every human being.?This article identifies?the five elements as thieves of happiness ,?that prevent people from being happy.?Lets have a look and try to refrain from them.
The First Thief: Control
The first thief of your happiness: your wish to control everything.
Putting it simple , this means that you can control only some of the things that are happening to you, and some others are out of your control no matter how much you try. If you tie up your happiness to uncontrollable factors , it will always result in to dissatisfaction. So accept the fact that few things are beyond control and prepare accordingly.
The Second Thief: Conceit
The second thief of your happiness is your self-centeredness.
?Conceit tries to convince you that your happiness?is all that matters, but don't be fooled.?Understand the truth.?You are on a journey to discover?your connections to this world.? Your conceit makes you unhappy because the world doesn’t revolve around you; you need to learn to live with the others; True happiness is in giving comfort to others ,
Third Thief: Coveting
Third thief Coveting means To desire what belong to others ; envy
There’s a big difference between wants and desires on one side, and jealousy and envy on the other. Your coveting hinders your joy because you fail to see what you own; and there will always be someone bigger than you or who has qualities you wish you had causing displeasure or undue competition, these are uncontrollable factors. Instead of thinking what you don't have , focus should be on what you have. Comparison with others lead nowhere.

Fourth Thief : Consumption.
Basically, the Consumption thief insists that happiness is not inside but in external factors.?
It constantly whispers to your ear: “You’ll be happy when you have this or that.” And the moment you acquire those things, it comes up with another great idea , Instead, understand and absorb the elevating truth?that happiness and contentment come from within and remain satisfied with what you have gives sense of fulfilment and happiness.
The Fifth Thief: Comfort
Comfort is the fifth and perhaps the most threatening thief of your happiness!
Comfort tries to convince you that change is unsafe?and will bring negative consequences,?even though the opposite is true. Coming out of comfort zone is 1st step to growth and is mandatory in the era of disruption. Today's comfort lead to tomorrow's struggle.
Dont let these thieves steal your joy.?They render you unable to see reality as it truly exists. Happiness is within , take the control
Stay Happy :)
