Hey, Girlfriend.
Are you familiar with the 5 P’s in business?
I discovered this framework via my weekly mastermind group. When we put in place the five P’s in our businesses, we can be successful per Chief Happiness Officer Edwin Edebiri.
Building a business requires the entrepreneur to tweak and repeat daily. Often times, people say that practice makes perfect. But Edwin reminds us that we are not working for perfection or mastery. We practice to make improvement. Failure is feedback that teaches us what NOT to do. This is why failure is a good thing. Not only in business but in life. We don’t learn anything when we are successful. Success is for our ego. Our small wins give us the fuel to keep going in spite of our feedback. This is why the 5 P’s are essential to being successful.
The 5 P’s stands for Pre Planning Produces Proud Performance. This translates to mean you must do the following…
1)Set goal and create a plan to achieve it.
2) Celebrate your small wins.
3) Learn from your feedback (aka failure).
4) Tweak and Repeat.
When you have a goal and plan, you are not anxious about your business. Why? Because you know when you do the work, the results will come. Your job is to focus on your activity not your results. Because you are not responsible for the results. Only the activity.
You must eat your FROG daily. Your frog is the thing you hate doing. Do this task first. Making prospect calls has been my FROG. What is yours?

Last but not least, my mentor Mattie Dozier taught me your downline is like a garden. Your recruiters will fall into 3 categories.
1) Collard greens - They will rank advance quickly.
2) Tomatoes - They will take 3 to 4 weeks to advance.
3) Corn - They will take all season to advance. But when they do, they will be strong like corn.
Love on your team where they are. Always ask them “ How can I help you WIN?â€As an upline, that is your job to help your recruits. When they win, you win. Don't be a MIA (missing in action) upline. Support your downline and help them WIN.
Work your plan. Plan your work. Your results will come.
I hope you enjoyed this information I share with you.
xoxo, Ingafay
