  1. ?? $110M - the expansion fee that Denver paid to become the 16th team in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) . It’s the biggest expansion fee in the history of U.S. women’s sports.
  2. ?? 0 - the number of advertising spots left for the 2025 NCAA Women’s College Basketball Championship game.
  3. ?? 41% - the percentage increase in viewership of the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament, drawing 1.3M for the finals between Louisville vs. Penn State.
  4. ?? 82% - the percentage of brands that plan to boost their budget allocation to women’s sports sponsorships in 2025, per Sports Innovation Lab ’s 2025 Women’s Sports Media Benchmarking Survey.
  5. ?? $222K - the average salary for the 36 athletes participating in the new Unrivaled Basketball league. For reference, the WNBA’s current maximum salary is $214K.

Awesome news but it also sounds like they may have under-estimated interest and demand and consequently under-priced their product , there are always 2 sides to consider with this type of news of an early sell out … that said , the ?? sold out?? headline is a great mid-longer term marketing and product positioning value and stake in the ground ??
