Five Myths of Recruitment

Hello HR Manager imagines a situation when you constantly call and email your prospective candidates for an interview and the prospect are running and you constantly chasing them. It's very common for HR professionals right.

Actually, the problem is in our mindset of industrial-aged thinking. In today's article, I will be discussing five limiting beliefs (Myths) that hold you back from attracting the right talent resulting in chasing your prospective talent and causing your frustration, underproductive and longer time to hire the right talent

Myth 1: Recruitment is a recruiter's job, I believe recruitment is a CEO’s job.

Myth 2: Recruitment starts with manpower planning, I believe recruitment was started when the organization was formed, even when the entrepreneur conceptualized the idea of his organization ( Why you do what you do)

Myth 3: Lucrative job advertisement is enough to attract the right talent, I believe the value you hold, build and inculcate attract and retain the right talent

Myth 4: Only Skills, knowledge, and attitude are enough to judge the people's capability, I believe the synchronicity between the organizational and personal values can create a disruption in the talent landscape

Myth 5: A recruiter is a recruiter. I believe a recruiter is your brand ambassador who carries?your mission, vision, and value to the prospects

I believe that recruitment is not a chasing game, and it is not only the recruiter’s job. My upcoming program 'Become a Talent Magnet' encounters the old-aged mindset of organizations about recruitment. Only posting jobs and searching profiles on the job portal can't lead one to win the war for talent in this 21st?century. I want to help those who are really interested to challenge their old belief system and position themselves out of the crowd in the employment market.
