It’s now 2025 and your Employee Handbook should now be updated with all the new policies required both by law and those your adding for the new year or nixing. The next step is rolling that bad boy out!
Updating your employee handbook is only half the battle—rolling it out in a way that captures attention and ensures your team actually engages with it is the real challenge. Instead of sending a dry email with an attachment (please don’t do this), why not make the launch an opportunity to connect, inform, and maybe even have a little fun? Here are five creative ideas to roll out your 2025 handbook that will leave a lasting impression.
1. Host a Handbook Launch Party
Who says handbook updates have to be boring? Turn the rollout into a celebratory event. Set up a meeting or lunch with snacks, music (I use to be a DJ hire me), and a short presentation highlighting the most important updates.
