Five Community Partner Updates
?- Beach Collective have won a $5000 grant from Howell Conservation Fund ! The money will be used to carry on Barbz’ mangrove restoration work in Cebu Philippines. We are in the process of identifying a new site and planning the timetable to coincide with planting season which runs until October. Many thanks to Brett W. Howell , Kirsten Midura, MEnv and the Howell Conservation Fund.

?- Beach and coastal clean ups with our partner The Ashley Lashley Foundation as part of their HEY Coastal & Ocean Clean-up Campaign have taken place over the last few months in #Ghana, St. Lucia, #Lebanon, Grenada and the #Philippines. All together they have collected over 6000kgs of garbage from our coastal areas and oceans and we look forward to growing that number with the upcoming beach cleans in the Galapagos, Brazil, Cayman Islands, Trinidad & Tobago, Indonesia, Tanzania, Solomon Islands and Barbados!

?- Our new intern Luca Williams is helping us restock our beach clean partners with fresh Beach Collective T-shirts. Togbe received this shipment to Ghana and after Easter we’ll be sending more to Lebanon.
Coming Up: We are in discussions with a well known ocean plastic charity about a possible partnership and some co-funded cleans with our community partners. Nothing nailed down just yet but watch this space!
