Five CCG Group Projects Announced as Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2024 Finalists

CCG is delighted to share the news that no less than five of our projects have been shortlisted for a prestigious Herald Propety for Scotland Award.

One of the most well-respected and coveted awards ceremonies on the Scottish property calendar,?The Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2024 ?will “honour the achievements of Scotland’s most innovative and successful home and commercial builders, developers, agents, interior designers and registered social landlords”.

And with that, let's look at the nominees...


Dundashill Plot 3A

First up is the FOUR-TIME nominated Dundashill Plot 3A. Delivered on behalf of West Scot Lettings, a subsidiary of West of Scotland Housing Association , it is the first of several phases that form part of the Dundashill Regeneration Masterplan and at 90 mid-market rent homes, it is the largest Passivhaus -accredited development in Scotland.

The project was constructed using the might of the CCG Group's in-house expertise with main constrructon services complemented by our enhanced, closed panel timber systems - integrated with triple-glazed and enhanced PVCu window and door sets - as well as turnkey M&E and main utility installations.

Burns Road

Burns Road is the culmination of 10 years of regeneration in the town centre of Cumbernauld where multi-storey towers have been demolished to make way for various developments of high-quality, affordable homes. With its concave feature block, this one cannot be missed; delivered by CCG for Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association Limited , the 131-home development is nominated in the Best Affordable Housing and Best Regeneration Residential categories.

Watson Street

Neighbouring the wonderfully transformed Bell Street Stables, Watson Street is a landmark, 52-home development presiding high above the streets of Merchant City in Glasgow city centre. Delivered by CCG on behalf of Lowther Homes , a member of Wheatley Group , it is an excellent example of urban regeneration and will be vying for a win in the Best Regeneration Residential category.

Calderwood Lodge

Vying for the Best Apartment Award, the transformation of the former Calderwood Lodge Primary School in Newlands is a feast for the eyes. Led by CCG's private housing arm, CCG Homes Ltd , a Victorian sandstone villa has been respectfully conserved and updated, alongside the creation of a new build apartment block, to offer a stunning blend of architectural conservation and contemporary design to deliver19, two and three-bedroom apartment & penthouses, and a wonderful three-bedroom 'Mews'.

Paisley Learning and Cultural Hub

Our final nominee is in the Best Regeneration Commercial category, and it is one our followers will have seen before. Once a run-down retail unit, this brand-new facility is a hub for learning for people young and old located in the centre of Paisley High Street. Delivered for Renfrewshire Council with hub West Scotland , it is already an award winner - will it strike lucky again?? Stay tuned...
