We’re excited to announce our partnership with Corefirst, a revolutionary Pilates brand specializing in expert coaching and resistance-based fitness equipment. With this collaboration, we’re adding Corefirst’s unique workouts to our Flex App and Group Studio platforms, expanding our library with cutting-edge, core-strengthening content.
Corefirst’s approach to fitness pairs patented, portable resistance bands with expertly crafted programs, providing our members with an elevated experience in strength and core training.
By integrating Corefirst’s content, Fitness On Demand enables operators to expand class schedules, reach members beyond their gym, and provide meaningful and flexible fitness content.
#TrainForMovember campaign raises $2,366 for men’s health
We were proud to join forces with our indoor cycling partner, Motosumo , in support of the #TrainForMovember initiative. The inspiring campaign was dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the Movember Foundation's men's health initiatives.
After a remarkable week of cycling dedicated to men’s health (from November 4-10), and attracting participants worldwide – including the Fitness On Demand community – the total collective distance pedaled was an incredible 142,006 kilometers. Those taking part logged a staggering 5,213 hours in the saddle to support the Movember Foundation’s mission.
The campaign raised US$2,366 for the Foundation, promoting awareness of mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.

HFA earns 48 “wins” in state legislatures in 2024
During the past year, The Health & Fitness Association (formerly IHRSA) has secured 48 state legislative wins, safeguarding fitness businesses from costly regulatory burdens. The industry association’s efforts are detailed in its 2024 State Advocacy Report: Empowering the Industry Through Strategic Engagement, which includes the issues it’s tracking, the reasons behind its stances on each issue, and why it continues to rack up wins for the industry.
In a statement, the HFA said: “Here at the HFA, nothing stays under the radar. We're on it.”

The global fitness app market size is projected to grow by $55.86 billion from 2024 to 2028, according to a new market report from Technavio , with health management, chronic diseases, and integrated video coaching platforms as key growth drivers.
In particular, the report outlines how digital fitness coaching platforms are growing their popularity through offering engaging and effective user experiences. The fitness app space is also evolving thanks to AI-driven personalization, convenience, affordability, and wearable tech integration.
User engagement and retention still pose a challenge for the competitive fitness app market, according to the global technology research and advisory company.

Even moderate amounts of exercise may reduce risk for heart condition
Adding an extra hour every week of physical activity may lower the chance of developing the most common type of irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) by 11 percent, a new study shows.
Led by researchers at NYU Langone Health, the investigation focused on atrial fibrillation, a condition in which the heart’s upper two chambers beat rapidly and irregularly instead of at a consistent pace. If left untreated, this can lead to stroke, heart failure, and other issues. While past studies have linked exercise to reduced risk of this type of arrhythmia, nearly all of these analyses have relied on participants’ often inaccurate estimates of their own activity levels, the authors say.
