It wouldn’t be an NFG season finale if we didn’t round off the event season with a visit to Loughborough University. Introducing NFG’s FitFest for 2022 – our core event returns; next year, it is guaranteed to be larger and livelier than ever. The 2022 event will run across two days, so keep the whole weekend free.
Loughborough’s world-class facilities and central location make this the perfect venue to host an unforgettable conclusion to a fantastic year for NFG.
Not only will NFG FitFest include our biggest and best NFG team competition ever, but we will also be joined by some fantastic additional events at the festival, making it an unmissable day for all fitness fanatics.

We are delighted to announce that FitFest Weightlifting will be part of NFG FitFest at Loughborough University on the 10th & 11th of September.?
FitFest Weightlifting is the event for you if you enjoy moving a barbell!?Two categories are available: OPEN and ELITE.
Details of the event:
Team of 4 (Teams must have at least one opposite sex within the team)?
2 Categories:?
OPEN?(Compete on Saturday 10th)
- No weightlifting license is needed
- No weightlifting suit is needed
- No minimum entry requirement
ELITE?(Compete on Sunday 11th)
- Athletes must have a weightlifting licence?
- Athletes must wear a Weightlifting suit on the competition platform?

Each team member will be given three attempts in the Snatch, and three in the Clean & Jerk - The best attempt from each lift will be your total in KG.
Athletes will have a 10-min break between the Snatch session and the Clean & Jerk session (The break starts at the last attempt of the snatch session)?

We are delighted to announce that the NFG Strength Games will again be part of NFG FitFest at Loughborough University on the 10th & 11th of September.?
If shifting heavyweights is your thing, then the Strength Games is the event for you! We have 'First Timer’ & ‘Novice’ categories, so don’t be offended if you have never competed in a Strongman-style event.

FG, Fiit & Wolverson are delighted to be staging the first ever ‘Assault Bike Championships, which will take place at Loughborough University on the 10th of September as part of FitFest.
If you like nothing more than pushing yourself on the Assault Bike, then this is the event for you. Individuals &?Pairs Teams will be tested across three workouts throughout the day, with the Assault Bike playing a significant role in them. The below categories are available for you to compete in, offering something for everyone irrespective of?your?fitness level:

After the huge success of our first Adaptive competition, we are very excited to bring you the second edition of?'NFG x REORG ADAPTIVE GAMES'?powered by WIT & Marchon.
When it comes to inspiration, pushing the limits of fitness & dedication, adaptive athletes are at the top of the tree! If you are an adaptive athlete looking to have a good time while testing your fitness, this is the event for you!
Event Categories (all Individual):
UPPER EXTREMITY - Athletes must have a diagnosed, significant and permanent impairment that exists or causes limitations to the upper extremity (e.g.arm), including the shoulder joint?
LOWER EXTREMITY -?Athletes must have a significant and permanent impairment that exists or causes limitations to the lower extremity (e.g. leg), including the hip joint.
?NEUROMUSCULAR -?Athletes must have a diagnosed, significant and permanent impairment that causes functional limitations in movement, specifically in gait, balance, range of motion, and/or coordination through impaired muscular and/or general neurological signalling in the trunk and/or more than one limb?control, dystonia, ataxia, athetosis, hypertonia, paralysis and/or general neurological signalling in the trunk and/or more than one limb.
SEATED W/O HIP -?Athletes must have a diagnosed, significant, and permanent impairment that causes functional limitations and requires athletes to perform most Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in a seated position;?

LOWER EXTREMITY & UPPER EXTREMITY -?Athletes must have a significant and permanent impairment that exists or causes limitations to the lower extremity (e.g. leg), including the hip joint. Athletes must also have a significant and permanent impairment that exists or causes limitations to the upper extremity (e.g.arm), including the shoulder joint.?
SHORT STATURE -?Eligibility for the Short Stature Division is evaluated through measurements specific to each gender. To be eligible, male athletes must meet all of the following criteria: Standing height ≤ 57 in (145 cm); Arm length ≤ 26 in (66 cm); and Sum of standing height plus arm length ≤ 79 in (200 cm). To be eligible, female athletes must meet all of the following criteria: Standing height ≤ 54 in (137 cm); Arm length ≤ 25 in (63 cm); and Sum of standing height plus arm length ≤ 75 in (190 cm).
SENSORY IMPAIRED - Athletes must have a diagnosed, significant, and permanent impairment that causes functional limitations in vision caused by dysfunction of the eye structure, optical nerves or optical pathways, or visual cortex of the brain.
