The last few months have been a rollercoaster for the team and me.? Yet, the New Year always brings new beginnings and a fresh wave of joy.
And that's exactly what I'm embracing this season – joy in every form, from cherished moments with friends to the warmth of generosity.
Recently, I reluctantly took a much-needed and long-scheduled girls' trip… I didn’t want to go and didn’t want to cancel.
We found ourselves in the delightful Six Twists Champagne Bar on a Saturday afternoon – a place I highly recommend.
Much to my surprise, they serve caviar, which I love and haven’t had in many years… I’ve just considered it way too indulgent.??
One of us had never tried caviar; one was meh, and one was like, hmmmmm, maybe.
I disappeared for a moment, and in a few moments, caviar arrived.? With POTATO CHIPS…. The best combination ever.
Everyone was surprised.
I created one new caviar fan; our “meh” girl remains unconverted, and the “hmm” girl is game to do this caviar thing again.?
It made me so happy to offer that unexpected treat... JOYFUL
This experience made me ponder all the lessons I’ve learned over the last few months, and I’ve decided the best medicine is to spread more joy. ?Joy for me and for those around me.
While I may not show up at your office with caviar (though it's a tempting idea!), I am committed to delivering joy in impactful ways through our business interactions.
As 2024 progresses, I invite you to join me on this journey of spreading joy, both personally and professionally.
