Fiseq – helping boards and executives thrive in the future (not just survive)

Fiseq’s purpose is to work with Boards and Executives to improve their performance. During my 25 years of corporate experience advising businesses and leaders, along with being a NED at the Red Cross and Chairman of a family care business, I saw first-hand that Boards and Executive Committees are still searching for practical, commercial advice to achieve their goals and navigate the future disruption their organisations face – from digital disruption to building purpose led cultures. Too often, well-intended projects or reviews end up being a traditional tick-box exercise focusing on meeting regulations rather than identifying actionable change within the unique challenges of their environment, structure and dynamics.

In response to this I set up Fiseq to share my passion for supporting business and individual leaders through change. Before Fiseq’s formal launch, I went back to “school” to hone my executive coaching skills; I worked with various clients in and out of Africa, I provided providing board and leadership advisory support to a mix of businesses and I went deep into exploring wisdom I could leverage from the scientific world especially in the fields of evolutionary sciences.

We’ve already started working on several board effectiveness and executive performance projects leading them through their unique challenges: in particular, fixing the problems ‘beneath the surface’.

I’m eager to see how else we can be a critical friend to organisations and leaders by identifying their key performance capabilities essential to thrive in the future.
