The First World Loyalty Giving Day

The First World Loyalty Giving Day

Today, December 3, 2024, is the inaugural World Loyalty Giving Day (WLGD inviting brands and their loyalty program members to transform points into purpose. Partnering with Giving Tuesday, this day is about using loyalty points to create meaningful change

At Give A Mile , we couldn’t be more thrilled to see this day come to life. For years, we’ve championed the profound impact that donating loyalty points can make. We’ve seen miles turn into moments—helping families share final goodbyes and creating irreplaceable memories filled with love and closure.

Why WLGD Matters The loyalty industry holds untapped potential—not just to reward transactions but to drive real change.

WLGD is helping us amplify the mission of Give A Mile to channel loyalty points into life-changing flights for families in their most challenging times. But it doesn’t stop there. Programs that promote point donations for causes like environmental conservation, education, and social justice can spark purpose-driven innovation across industries.

Every mile donated is more than a number—it’s a step toward delivering hope, connection, and comfort. And we’re excited to see more social good causes embrace this powerful methodology.

?? Here’s How You Can Help

  • Loyalty Program Members: Donate unused miles to support families needing one last goodbye. Your points can give a family precious moments together.
