The First Step

As I was walking down the road,  I saw a tiny toddler of about 12 months or so, making an attempt to walk his first step, with a help of a lady, who I guess was his mom.  Curiously, I paused on the road to watch the kid  attempt and it was after about 15-20 minutes of serious struggle and after falling down so many times, that he finally managed to walk his first step !!!!!

Amazed at this, I thought that how true was this was for everything that we attempt in our lives. Be it achieving a task, project or seeking to achieve any goal....its the first step that we  find it hard to make. I believe that be it a small task or a major project cannot be achieved unless we begin..... so start, if you want to reach !!!!

I am reminded of this very famous quote from LAO TZU " A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step.
