First Source Honors Amy DeMetri for 16 Years of Service as She Embarks on Her Next Chapter in Retirement

New Hartford, NY - First Source is honored to have had Amy DeMetri as an outstanding leader in our Credit Union for 16 years. Amy joined the Credit Union in 2008 as Senior Branch Manager. She came to us with over 20 years of banking experience, which she strategically wove into her contributions toward our success. Amy is currently the Executive Vice President, having previously served as the Director of Member Services. Throughout her tenure at First Source, Amy led many teams. She coached, developed, and built strong working relationships both within and outside of the organization. She will be retiring at the end of December 2023.

At an early age, I began my banking career as a drive-up teller with The Savings Bank of Utica, embracing every opportunity before me, and building skill sets I still refer to today. Joining First Source was the catalyst to my professional growth- offering me the knowledge, exposure, and freedom to do much more. I am proud of my contributions over the years, and feel I was with organizations that focused on people and their needs. Working in that environment brought the motivation and fulfillment I drove into the office with every morning for nearly 40 years!”?
