The first six months...

The first six months of my new journey as an independent entrepreneur have been a wonderful success! Many projects have come to fruition as hoped while other collaborations have come about through unexpected and most appreciated strokes of good fortune.
First and foremost, my friend and colleague Andreas Brandner offered me to join forces and develop my activities under his trademark Knowledge Management Associates . It’s a perfect fit because my activities are focused on knowledge management, and in particular Wiki consulting and implementation.
Very soon, it became obvious that another perfect fit had come my way: Daniel Dobriy - whose Bachelor’s thesis I was asked to provide guidance for at WU Wien (Vienna University of Economics and Business) – shares a keen interest in Semantic MediaWiki aas well as knowledge management in general and is now part of the KM-A team.
Interesting projects and customers have been keeping me busy, ranging from the Universit?t Regensburg , Hochschule für ?ffentliche Verwaltung Kehl , the école normale supérieure de Lyon , to the Austrian Academy of Sciences - ?sterreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften (?AW) , Bundesministerium für Kunst, Kultur, ?ffentlicher Dienst und Sport (BMK?S) to my former employer, the KDZ - Zentrum für Verwaltungsforschung .

Long-standing collaboration partners are now my new work colleagues: Alexander Gesinn , Ad Strack van Schijndel , Bryan Hilderbrand , Cindy Cicalese , Eduard Mang , Eric-Jan van Kakerken , Günter Koch, Prof. Dr.h.c. , Jeffrey W. Jeroen De Dauw , Lex Sulzer , Mark Hershberger , Mario Wiedemann , Richard Evans , Sabine Melnicki , and many more have been keeping me company. So, no reason to be lonely in my home office happily shared with translator, conference interpreter and language coach Anneliese Krabina-Lindner .
Also, I have managed to continue my PhD work at the WU Institute for Data, Process and Knowledge Management with the great team around Axel Polleres and am happy to also have stayed in touch with my former boss Thomas Prorok and other former co-workers at KDZ.
Exciting times lie ahead with my teaching commitment at FH Campus Wien | University of Applied Sciences coming up again and some projects that are due to be finalized later this year. Watch this space and I will keep you posted!
Thank you to everyone who has shared and continues to share in my journey.

2 年All the best for further success in this new adventure, Bernhard!!!!
Gratuliere, dass für Dich alles so wunderbar aufzugehen scheint!
Having been entrepreneur in the 1st phase of my life, then becoming employed, i.e. transformed from Paulus to Saulus, but then, much later converted back. What I want to say is that the separation of being entrepreneur and being employed may make no sense any more in future. Wish you every further success, feeling proud to know someone energetic like you !
