Our youth are in a state of crisis, and we must stand up and become first responders. Trauma has overtaken the reality of our youth. Their feeling of safety and wellbeing and their right to just be youth is slowly diminishing. Their foundation as they know it and their understanding of safety, has been ripped away from them and those things that were absolute are no more. Toys R Us had a slogan that said, " Were a kid can be a kid ", unfortunately this is no more. Do you hear their cry, “ I am not safe at home, school, church, the movies, a grocery store, walking home, at the park or even riding home in a car. NO WHERE”!?Our youth and young adults are crying out for help right in our faces, but do we see.......? Do we hear? ARE WE LISTENING? I desire to instruct our youth to wellness from the inside out. Often the signs are there but we overlook them. Low morale, anger, no energy, argumentative, combative, suicidal, depressed, hopelessness and despair. They continue to function because they do not want to anger their parents, teachers, or those that have expectations for them, while silently suffering inside. Many do not know how to articulate the words or feel no one will listen anyway. Parents, Teachers, Ministers, Community Leaders, Non-Profits (that say they are out to help youth), this is a 911 emergency!!!! The youth are not our tomorrow they are our right now!?Can you answer the call? This is a 911 emergency. Will you be a First Responder?? #stateofemergency #firstrespondersneeded #areyoulistening To speak to your youth groups or provide wellness life coaching click my link. drtammyspeaks.com
