First-of-its-Kind Curriculum

Next Generation in Trucking Foundation Receives Grant to Develop First-of-its-Kind High School Truck Driving Curriculum The Next Gen Trucking Association is thrilled to announce that we have received a grant from Knorr-Bremse Global Care North America. With this funding, we will be able to establish a standardized curriculum for training the next generation of truck drivers. We are committed to setting the bar high for training, ensuring that new drivers are well-prepared for the challenges of the industry. NGT has met with over 100 high schools that are interested in starting a truck driver training course and this curriculum will help elevate the program and accelerate the process of getting more programs started. We started this organization for the trucking industry, but quickly shifted the reason we started NGT to focus on students. We are seeing young lives be changed because of trucking. Students find something they are good at, can see a future for themselves and their families, and can literally be on an upward path to financial mobility.
