The First NASA Frontier Development Laboratory Booth at the Fall AGU Conference, 2019

“NASA Takes a Cue From Silicon Valley to Hatch Artificial Intelligence Technologies” said a recent NASA press release:

And to continue our journey into this brave new world, we decided to share the FDL ideas with one of the largest science conferences in space and geo sciences the “American Geophysical Union” by creating the first ever NASA FDL booth at this conference with the support of our partner, collaborator, Google icloud. This to me is a pretty historical moment! I started attending AGU in the late 1980s and have missed only one in the last three decades.

Proud to be here with Bill Diamond of the SETI Institute, Michael Seablom, NASA SMD chief technologist and partner of FDL and yours truly representing the efforts of a huge number of scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, AI experts and funders. Please visit the website
