• Are you a runner or wannabe runner? There’ll be a 5K Sightseeing Run on 14 Oct during SuperReturn Middle East. Be up bright and early as it starts at 6:45am
• I’m more of a walker, so I’ll be skipping the run in Dubai and joining the early morning SuperInvestor 5K Hike in Monaco on 6 Nov
• What about meditating? You can try Qi Gong Meditation at SuperReturn Asia, 25 Sept, 7am. FYI, this is a small group session so numbers are limited. Sign up asap via the form on the event website

GPs' Investor Update Meetings

• In a first for SuperReturn, and we’re super excited about this, two GPs will be holding their Investor Update meetings at the SuperReturn Asia event venue during the conference

Pros include: time efficient, maximises attendance, all-round convenience for LPs/GPs

Cons: fewer steps for Fitbits/Step Trackers as invited guests don't have far to walk

Dipping into Real Estate

• We are newbies in this area of private markets. At our brand new Real Estate Summit at SuperReturn Global Infrastructure (8 Oct), residential, commercial, digital, ESG, hospitality, logistics, private debt, retail and macro topics are all covered. Think I will be bagging a front row seat to get up to speed on this area....

From the private markets grapevine

• Times are hard out there in private markets. GPs need exits and LPs need distributions. Very tough for everyone, and especially for newer managers and smaller LPs. Hang on in there. It's always darkest before dawn.

Did you know that...
