First MailChimp Email of the year

I sent this email below to our database of leads who have contacted us in the past 12 months. I used MailChimp and deliberately avoided using images. I wanted it to be as close to a personal email as it could be and so far we've had some good interaction.
A very happy New Year to you.
This is our first email of the New Year, and I want to keep it as brief and to the point as I can, whilst trying to send it as ‘personally’ as I can using MailChimp.
With things as they are right now and with an immediate future that still looks somewhat uncertain, it's possible that you are looking at us at Raring2go! and franchising in general with perhaps a greater degree of scrutiny.
If you are searching for a get rich quick scheme please don’t read on because that’s not what we are (and they don’t exist anyway).
If you’re looking for promises of a six figure income in return for very little commitment, then again, please don’t read on because we don’t make false promises (and whilst others might, they really don’t exist either)
If you’re looking for a job or a salary, once again please look away because that’s not what we are (though these do indeed exist)
If however you are looking:
- to build a proven and highly respected business in your local community
- for a way to strike a better balance between work life and home life
- to be in complete control of your professional career whilst still being there for your family
- to work for yourself and be part of a brilliant, established and highly collaborative community of fellow franchise owners
- to wave goodbye to the car, bus or train daily commute and associated costs
- to never again have to pay for child-care or organise child-care
- to earn a respectable monthly income whilst working from home
- to be a committed and dedicated team player
- to join a reputable franchise business with an all inclusive start up package providing full training and on-going support for as little as £7,000 + VAT.
Then please do click here or send us an email and we will send you our comprehensive information pack by return.
We don’t make false claims and we won’t promise you something we know we cannot deliver. So, if you’re curious to learn more about us and find out if we are a good fit for one another please get in touch.
We look forward to hearing from you and to telling you more about Raring2go!
Work around your family, build a solid career and have fun whilst you do it. Come and join our network and be part of an award winning team

4 年Reads really well Freddie. Strikes a good tone and comes across as genuine.
Showcasing the impact of donating and supporting a charity for people with learning disabilities. Fundraising to enhance life outcomes and opportunities.
4 年That’s interesting Frederick St George MBE . I prefer to receive plain text emails.
Exploring & recharging after 20 years of entrepreneurship. Now supporting Leading Minds Worldwide (Professional Speaker Management Co.) with their ambitious growth plans.
4 年In mixing it up Freddie have you tried sending video via email? You’re so good on camera & your message passionate & authentic I’d be interested to see the stats of how that performed. I’ve been trialling Dubb & liking the platform.

4 年I think it depends on your audience and what your aiming to achieve Frederick. For example, if Amazon sent through plain text emails to promote products on their site you probably wouldn't take notice. An HTML that you've personalised to an individual could easily be viewed as spam though our even go into the junk folder! The key is to test and track the results. Maybe the best solution is to mix it up!
