#1 What we’ve learned from working with AI ScaleUps

“We can now make decisions, take actions, and build something new from scratch, which was not possible with the previous generation of technology.”

Drawing on Insight Partners’ experience working with AI startups since 2014 — with $4B invested in the sector so far — Managing Director Lonne Jaffe discusses artificial intelligence-related lessons learned and best practices brought to life, including the importance of explainability and the promise of next-gen MLOps stacks.

#2 How AI is transforming healthcare and powering better patient outcomes

“AI can actually democratize quality in the sense that it could take those lower-performing physicians and actually help them get better.”

In the notoriously flawed U.S. healthcare system, there’s enormous opportunity for big data and advanced analytics to transform the patient experience for the better. AILY LABS CEO and cofounder Bianca Diana Anghelina and Covera Health CEO Ron Vianu explored how key health players leverage real-time AI to improve outcomes and illustrated the transformational power of innovation in outdated, bureaucratic systems.

#3 National security in the age of AI: How emerging technology is transforming defense and intelligence

“…how do you still provide something that allows leaders to know a little more and act a little sooner.”

AI is poised to revolutionize national security, but a failure to adapt could have disastrous results. This fireside chat featuring former Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence Sue Gordon and current CIA CTO Nand Mulchandani — moderated by Insight Partners’ Senior Advisor Nick Sinai — explores the opportunities and challenges of AI in a new era of strategic competition.

#4 Designing and scaling responsible AI

“When you run a model, and you get 99% accuracy, it’s an immediate red flag…And I think that end users — the average person in the world — should probably take that same level of skepticism with AI.”

What does it mean to build responsible AI , and what are the societal risks if it’s not done correctly? For an AI system to be successful, it should be trustworthy, unbiased, and transparent while protecting privacy. But building an ethical system can be as difficult as it is crucial.?

Dataiku Responsible AI Lead Triveni Gandhi, Ph.D , Diligent Executive Director Dottie Schindlinger , Weights & Biases cofounder Chris Van Pelt — moderated by Managing Director George Mathew — share their tips for designing, training, building, and scaling ethical AI systems, from data governance to understanding output and everything in between.

#5 Deception decoded: Using AI to mitigate risk and root out fraud

“We need to join forces with what’s happening individually so that collectively, we are much better.”

Through advanced identity verification and pattern recognition, AI can help enterprises combat the risk of bad actors like never before. Moderated by Managing Director Hilary Gosher , PayPal SVP Hui Wang , Abnormal Security 's Head of Machine Learning Dan Shiebler , 花旗 Managing Director and Global Head of AI/ML Sirisha Kadamalakalva , and J.P. 摩根 Executive Director Charles Phiri, PhD, CITP explore how AI helps cut down on risk, catch fraud, and drive better business outcomes. How does the team think a potential soft landing will impact the IPO market in the coming months, years, etc...? Follow up to that, will this potentially lead us to a big data bubble, or are the value gains from LLMOps tools, and genAI applications material enough to drive substantive growth?
