Alongside Meta’s recent announcement of a subscription-based option for users to avoid ads, TikTok recently announced that they’ll be offering the same deal for users to have the choice to pay for an ad-free experience on the platform. These offerings are hugely based off new regulations in the EU where users can opt-out of personalization that uses data to customize their experience, including ads. So instead of dealing with a worse ad experience, you just pay for it to go away entirely.? Would you pay $4.99 per month for ad-free viewing on TikTok??
