On the product development front, Instagram is on a role with adding new, much-wanted features to their app to elevate user experience. This new recent addition includes the ability to post Gifs in comments, which will undoubtedly increase overall engagement on the app as users explore the different ways to incorporate these types of reactions. We expect to see an uptick in influencer engagement benchmarks as a result, but it’ll be interesting to see how much of an effect something like this will have.?
Adweek’s Social Media Week 2023 provided so many interesting insights on where influencer and social marketing is headed later in the year and on into 2024. We were there to listen to the segment hosted by Denise Vitola and Jamie Hess around creator partnerships, but we also got the chance to hear from some of the brightest minds in the influencer industry. AI was an obvious hot topic of discussion as its tie with influencer and social marketing is rapidly developing to optimize creatives and campaign performance.?
We all know that AI is great at making copy and answering questions, but as the development continues, we find new ways to incorporate the technology. Of course, it’s extremely difficult for AI to replace a real person’s creativity, but these types of insights will help give brands and influencers a different perspective?on what type of content resonates with social media users over both organic and paid media.?
