Spring and the first Impression of your property
With the arrival of Spring the grass is growing, weeds are coming, people are back outside, are you ready? Did you know that visitors to your property begin to shape their first impression within a few minutes of arriving on your site. They will start to develop their own assumptions and perceptions about your team’s management style, the company brand; local, regional or national, service they might receive, attention to detail, “if the outside looks like this…what does the inside look like” etc. Of course, we all want to be sure our property presents a positive “first impression, but what is the cost to you and your company if that “first impression” is not so good??How will you know?
Typically, the first notable item that will begin to shape their perception of your property is the lawn, often overlooked but impactful in contributing to a visitors positive or negative experience. And what effect is that having on your customer acquisition costs?
When was the last time you looked at your lawn with the mindset of a new visitor? Take a different route into your property, park in a different space, walk a different path around the property. Try it and you may begin to gain a new perspective of what visitors see when they arrive, their “first impression”.?
Answer these following questions while you take a new walk and they may lead you to consider “something different” a change perhaps in how these issues are addressed, a new lawncare program.
·???Is the lawn “green”?
·???Are there weeds? In the lawn, along the fence, by the ponds, etc.
·???Are there bare spots, erosion?
·???Is it dry, too wet?
·???Could you take pictures of your property today to share?
