First impressions and last impressions of a hotel inspection

How would you start and end a hotel inspection presenting 4 rooms categories? Do you start with the top of range Presidential Suite and end with the lead-in category? Kicking off with the best and least number of rooms, and closing on the lowest category (which could be your largest inventory), this emphasising first impression. Or would you present your lead-in product first and end with the highest rates room for a lasting final impression? I most often start hotel inspections starting with our top-of-the-line showroom and ending on the lowest. However, last week, due to logistics of managing a large group inspection we flipped on group and I started with our lead-in showroom, ending on our Executive Suite. Is there greater impact by putting your most luxurious and expensive room type first?

9 年Hi David, personally I would start with the room type of which you sell the most to the category of people on the site inspection. If you sell more rooms of the better type to incentive groups then that's the one to show off first, then go up the scale.
