First Folio 1623

First Folio 1623

What a delightful time I have had serving as Front of House for the Amateur Plays of Sherborne’s production of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night: https://www.aps-sherborne.co.uk/. Consummate acting, beautifully delivered verse, elegant singing, and the loveliness of this intimate theatre and dedicated audience. And how better to commemorate such an important literary anniversary. Like jewels, the memorable lines twinkle and shine: ‘If music be the food of love, play on.’ ‘Better a witty fool, than a foolish wit.’ ‘Foolery, sir, does walk about the orb like the sun; it shines everywhere.’ ‘Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them.’ ?
