Philly named first sensory inclusive city in the country ??
Philadelphia is the first city to be named a Certified Sensory Inclusive City by KultureCity , a nonprofit focused on neurodivergent inclusion nationwide.
The certification process included the training of over 70% of city workers in sensory inclusivity, as well as providing resources like mobile stations with noise-reducing headphones, sensory bags, and fidget toys to mitigate sensory overload in public areas.
