The first day of writing my next chapter ...

After nearly 26 incredible years at Intel Corporation, 12/1/2017 was my "last day in the office”, and what a fitting way to end it running through Chicago O’Hare Airport :-) It has been a magnificent ride – from my first position in the UK, to Portland, Tokyo, Hong Kong and back to Portland. I had the opportunity to work with inspiring people and leaders along the way, working with customers, ecosystem partners and Intel colleagues to bring amazing new technologies to life. During these years, the compute industry transformed the world as we knew it, bringing new and affordable IT capabilities to billions of users around the world. Intel is transforming again, moving from a compute-centric company to one powering the cloud and billions of smart, connected devices with the opportunity to change the world once more. As Intel writes its next chapter in the technology industry, the time is right to do the same in "Robby’s book of life". There are a couple of passions I will pursue in my new chapter, including executive mentoring and coaching, corporate boards, as well as academia and community work. I want to say “thank you and all the best” to my friends and colleagues in our industry and at Intel. I can’t wait to see what you will do next!! I will continue to work with many of you in my new endeavors. At the same time, I am excited about the new learnings ahead of me and the opportunity to meet new incredible people. Onwards …
